Join us for a Black-tie, Western night of celebration, music, acknowledgements, poetry, and fun at The Grand on Foster as we raise funding for the annual Juneteenth Celebration and Parade. The 1865 Gala will feature Legends & Preludes of the Tri-State as Honorees, Live music by the Los Locos Band, and an Appearance by Shaniqua Rose, Orlando, Florida.

This black-tie Western event will be held at The Grand on Foster in beautiful Downtown Dothan, AL. Each 1865 Gala ticket assists in bringing quality programming, entertainment, historical artifacts and persons to the Southeast Region, also, the multiple scholarships and awards distributed to area youth and other non-profit organizations.

 

As a thank you for attending "The 1865 Gala", each ticket purchased will give access to Tse Membership, The Gala Hall, two (2) bar tickets, and elevated dining experience.

Each year "The 1865 Gala" will have a theme to highlight the year's creative goals and mission. The theme for 2023 is "The Westward Expansion".  We are highlighting the trailblazing, historical works of the 9th & 10th Calvary Regiments of the African-American soldiers through their connection with the Indian War & Protecting Wagon trains heading West. We encourage all patrons to interpret and internalize the theme as desired through Hair, Fashion & Design!!!
