Think You Have the Best Cake?

Compete in The Great Cake-Off for bragging rights all year long! Whether you're a Pro or in the AMetur Division, we want to taste YOUR confectionary genius. This competition is a chance to flex your baking muscles! Registration is free to compete.

Rules

Your submission must be a whole cake with a diameter of at least 8 inches.
A max of 3 entries per baker or bakery is permitted.
Food-grade dowels for support ONLY (no wire).
The cake submission must be REAL cake. No fake cakes allowed.
Supports, pillars, or displays must be clearly notated in the description.
Each cake should include a description card with a description of the cake, your name, email, and phone number.
All cakes will be judged blindly (no names or bakery names given to judges) on Appearance, Texture, Skill level, Creativity, Cleanliness, and Taste.
You can leave business cards for tasters.

Want to taste all the delicious submissions and some yummy bakery treats? Donate $25 and receive a tasting box! Fill your box with bites and slices of delicious submissions! We only have 200 tasting tickets, so get them fast. All proceeds go towards the Juneteenth African American Arts Museum and Repository's capital funds campaign!

The Great Cake-Off benefits the Juneteenth African American Arts Museum & Repository (opening 2027), an extension of TSEJA. Because of donations from individuals like YOU, will be able to provide quality arts programming, exhibits, and educational opportunities in the Historic Dixie Depot Community of Dothan, AL.
