Think You Have the Best Cake?

Compete in The Great Cake-Off for bragging rights all year long! Whether you're a Professional or in the Amateur Division, we want to taste YOUR confectionery genius. This competition is a chance to flex your baking muscles! How do you help our nonprofit? Well pieces of your creations will be distributed to the public in exchange for donations! That's right--you compete and help the community grow at the same time! Registration is FREE and you can enter up to three creations!

Rules

Your submission must be a whole cake with a diameter of at least 8 inches.
A maximum of 3 entries per baker or bakery is permitted.
Food-grade dowels for support ONLY (no wire).
The cake submission must be REAL cake. No fake cakes are allowed.
Supports, pillars, or displays must be clearly noted in the description.
Each cake should include a description card with details about the cake (no names or info).
Each cake must have a separate card with your name or business name, email, and phone number.
All cakes will be judged blindly (no names or bakery names provided judges) based on Appearance, Texture, Skill Level, Creativity, Cleanliness, and Taste.
All submissions must be turned in no earlier than 9:00 AM no later than 9:30 AM at the Historic Dixie Depot Train Station located at 201 Depot St. Dothan, AL 36301 for judging. Winners will be contacted via phone and email if you are unable to stay with your creation.

The Great Cake-Off benefits the Juneteenth African American Arts Museum & Repository (opening 2027), an extension of TSEJA. Because of donations from individuals like YOU, will be able to provide quality arts programming, exhibits, and educational opportunities in the Historic Dixie Depot Community of Dothan, AL.
